One-Way Mirror Privacy Spray

It is not going to look like a professionally tinted luxury car window. For the price though it does exactly what is advertised. I would say mine ended up around 70 percent of a true one-way mirror. The bottle I received was a little dented in shipping but the product inside was fine. 4 stars overall.

Came as 5 bottles, used them on the front windows, two bedroom windows, and one in the kids playroom. Everywhere it went on the windows looks consistent and the mirror effect is uniform. That is a huge amount of privacy coverage for the price. Glad I went for the bundle.

My attic gets brutal in the summer. I have a single big window up there and the sun cooks the room by noon. After applying this on the inside of the glass the temperature difference is real, probably 6 to 8 degrees cooler in direct sun. My desk fan is no longer my best friend. Highly recommend for any south-facing window.

Big concern for me was my indoor plants. I have a whole row of pothos and monstera on the sill. After three weeks I can confirm they are thriving, no yellowing, no slowed growth. The spray filters the harsh glare but the room stays bright. Best of both worlds.

I really wanted this to work. I prepped the glass exactly like the listing says, three thin coats, full dry time between each. After it cured the effect was barely visible, more of a faint haze than a mirror. Maybe I got a bad bottle. Emailed support a week ago and still have not heard back, so I am giving it 2 stars. The product itself, for me, did not deliver.

First attempt was streaky because I sprayed too thick. After watching a couple YouTube videos I cleaned it off with alcohol and started over with light passes. Second try was almost perfect. So the product works, just follow the rule of multiple thin coats. I would give it 5 stars if the included instructions were clearer.

I got this mainly for the heat and glare reduction and it has been great. My west-facing window used to turn my living room into an oven in the afternoon. The room is noticeably cooler and the glare on my TV is basically gone. Reflective effect is a bonus.

My bedroom faces a neighbors balcony and I was tired of always having to keep the blinds half down. After two coats of this spray I can leave the blinds fully open during the day. At night you do need curtains since the effect flips when your room is brighter than outside, but that is true for any one-way product and the listing actually warns you about it.

The instructions on the bottle are pretty minimal, but the process is simple. Clean the glass with rubbing alcohol first, let it dry, then apply thin even coats. I did three coats and got a really nice reflective finish. Took maybe 30 minutes for one medium window. Not a 5 because the bottle is on the small side for the price, but the result is genuinely good.

I live on the first floor with a huge living room window facing the sidewalk. People used to walk by and just stare in. Two coats of this spray fixed that completely during the day. Tip: tape off the window frame and use the gloves they sell with it, the spray does not wash off skin easily. Worth every penny.
